How To Make A Purse Cake
My version on how to make a purse cake is finally hither! I take a few tips that I desire to share before nosotros get started. My purse cake is rather high. Tylo powder (CMC, Gum Tex)
Tylo glue
Small sharp knife
Scalpel
Gel paste food color (I used Avocado from AmeriColor)
Golden lustre dust (I used Golden Sands from Edable Art, a Uk brand)
Small corporeality of articulate booze or lemon extract
lustre dust (matching the gel paste food color) (I used Iced Pino from Edable Art, a United kingdom make)
Large cosmetic powder brush
2 brushes, 1 for painting and 1 for the Tylo glue
Cornstarch dusting bag
Block smoothers
Ribbon or strip cutter
Large round pipe tip
Piping gel
Ruler + pencil
Big spatula
Gum paste brooch
Optional: Small gum paste flowers for extra ornament.
Step 1:
Accept a piece of rolled fondant. Large egg size and knead it with one tsp of Tylo powder.
Pace 2:
Scroll out the fondant to a 5mm thickness. Take a ribbon cutter or a strip cutter (culling use a knife) and cutting a 9″ long and ane″ broad strip.
